The Spark: A Parent’s Promise (August 2019)

 

Our story didn’t start in a boardroom. It started in our home, with the arrival of our baby. Like every parent, our priorities shifted instantly. We wanted nothing but absolute purity for our child.

We turned to the one thing we knew we could trust: our Grandma’s timeless recipes. We began with Homemade Pure Native Cow Ghee, prepared exactly as she used to make it—using the authentic Bilona method.

The moment that ghee touched the pan, the aroma filled our home… rich, golden, and deeply nostalgic. Relatives who visited us were transported back to their childhoods. They told us, “You must share this goodness with the world.”

That encouragement gave birth to Krivasi.

 

Reviving the Village Way

 

We asked ourselves a simple question: “Why should our children grow up without the real tastes we cherished?”

With this purpose, we set out to bring back the honesty of village kitchens.

• Native cow milk becomes curd.

• The curd is slowly, lovingly hand-churned into butter.

• The butter is gently simmered over a low flame. This is the same patient art our grandmothers practiced. The result is aromatic, sattvic, and golden—not just ghee, but a piece of our heritage.

🪵 The Foundation: Slow Wood-Pressed Oils We realized that modern refined oils had lost their life. So, we went back to the Wooden Chakku (Ghani). Whether it is Groundnut, Sesame, or Coconut, we press our oils slowly.
